Welcome to the Classroom / Home-school Resource and Reference Department!
Dear Teacher,

There four "Teacher's Pages" that may be helpful to you.

1) The
Official DonutForget Sunday School/VBS Curriculum Songs. Click to listen to a sampling of the songs that go with our curriculum.

2) Write to curriculum@donutman.com to request a free sample of Unit 1 and a free mp3/song. You will receive them as email attachments.

3) Check out my free lesson page, the Donutman/YouTube Classroom, where if you hook up your laptop or computer to classroom wifi, you can read comments and ideas to your kids, play the YouTube video link right there in the classroom, and then ask the questions afterwards. It is a free, instant, Donutman/YouTube Classroom!

4) Check out our abbreviated Donut Man Song Reference Library below. Songs of the Seasons, Scriptures, Sacraments, Themes, & Characters; Access songs categorically. Find a subject that you will be covering, and see how effectively our music can address it.

Before you 'click-away', here is the 'big-picture'. For over 25 years, Rob Evans, the Donut Man has created songs and videos dedicated to telling Bible-stories with song in imaginitive ways. Songs such as: "Daniel in the Lions' Den" is sung by the lion, and 'we are' the lions! "The Mustard Seed" 'himself' sings about faith. The little boy who gave his "One Basket" lunch to Jesus sings us his story. This 'first-person' approach connects with children's imagination, and draws them in powerfully.

There are some The Donut Man Originals, are CD's that are just story-songs. "Songs That Teach, Songs That Praise" mix story-songs with praise-songs. You can find these on our CD page.

Then, on DVD page, you can see how we then placed these songs in a video context. "At The Zoo" we learn about being our 'brother's keeper'. (Zoo-keeper. Get it?) in "Barnyard Fun", we learn about the Fruit of the Spirit and how 'Jesus the Farmer' will be returning to look for His fruit in our lives. Then what pray-tell, is "DonutForget"? Obviously, it is a play on the words "Don't Forget". It is a non-dated curriculum that can work in the classroom or for VBS that can help you apply Donut Man songs in your home or classroom. This page will help you access my songs in a number of helpful ways.

Great Songs Make Lessons Memorable: The  Official DonutForget Sunday School/VBS Curriculum includes 52 Songs and Lessons. Reference here by Bible Characters, Themes, Virtues, Special Events, Group activities, Christian Calendar, Liturgical Season, some Sacramental Themes.

The "DonutForget" curriculum songs are on this page. If you click on the following link, "Free Sample of DonutForget Curriculum", you go to the download page for our first unit. The categories lead to songs that you can click to listen. Next to the songs are the products that offer the songs. I wrote 52 of the following songs for the "Donut Forget" curriculum. If you find that you can use a lot of these songs, then you should buy the curriculum. However, they can also be purchased separately, on CD and DVD titles that are also sitting next to the song titles. All audio samples are in MP3 format and play within your browser using Adobe Flash or Quicktime.
